Anche scrittori come Clemente Alessandrino, teologo del II secolo, menzionano il nome divino, il quale prova che all'epoca non era ancora del tutto dimenticato. Negli Stromati in effetti leggiamo: "Inoltre, il nome mistico di quattro lettere che è stato stabilito sui soli ai quali l'adytum era accessibile, è chiamato Iehoua, che si traduce 'Colui che è e che sarà. Il nome di Dio, anche tra i greci, contiene quattro lettere". (Stromata V, 6, 34) Quindi, ve-diamo che Clemente conosceva il nome di Dio.
Ma dove l' hai pescata questa traduzione?
In greco c'è scritto Iaoue non l'ibrido iehoua:
"[5] ἀτὰρ καὶ τὸ τετράγραμμον ὄνομα τὸ μυστικόν, ὃ περιέκειντο οἷς μόνοις τὸ ἄδυτον βάσιμον ἦν· λέγεται δὲ
Ἰαουε, ὃ μεθερμηνεύεται"

Anche il vostro fratello Gertroux nel suo libro "The Name of God Y.EH.OW.AH Which is Pronounced as it is Written I_EH_OU_AH", a pagina 105, dice che Clement of Alexandria used "Iaoue" e mette la nota #167 riferendosi a "A. le Boulluec -Les Stromates V.VI:34,5 In: Sources chretiennes n 278,279 Paris 1981 Ed Cerf
